Abstract

This article explores the concept of sacrifice in Islam and Hinduism, providing a comprehensive analysis of the religious, philosophical, and social aspects of sacrificial practices in both traditions. The first section delves into the meaning and evolution of sacrifice across various religions, highlighting its universal significance. The second section focuses on the concept of sacrifice in Islam, examining its theological underpinnings through Quranic verses and Hadith, as well as its legal and ethical dimensions within Islamic jurisprudence. The third section investigates the Hindu practices of Yajna (sacrificial rituals) and Bali (offerings), discussing their historical development and spiritual significance. By comparing these perspectives.
