Abstract

Urdu is a multidimensional language that raises a sense of common identity, preserves cultural heritage, and serves as the national language of Pakistan. Due to its rich historical roots and linguistic diversity, Urdu plays a crucial role in uniting people from different regions, traditions, and backgrounds. Pakistan's national language not only symbolizes unity, but also represents the diverse cultural fabric of the country. Furthermore, Urdu conveys centuries-old traditions, literature, and values through its transmission of cultural heritage. An analysis of Urdu's role in shaping national identity and preserving cultural heritage illustrates Pakistan's intimate relationship between language, culture, and collective identity.
