A Reflection of Civic and Cultural Sensation in Travelogue "Istanbul K Aalum Main Muntakhab’’ سفرنامہ "استنبول کہ عالم میں منتخب" میں تہذیبی و سماجی شعور کی عکاسی

Abstract

Travelogue is a genre of literature that has the ability to reflect history, civilization, society and culture simultaneously. Some of the travelogues are unique in this regard. Salma Awan's travelogues can also be counted among these travelogues. Her travelogues, whether local or foreign, are a reflection of the civilization and culture of the respective geography. The majority of her foreign travelogues are based on travels in the Middle East. Among them, an important travelogue is based on a trip to Turkey. There are many travelogues on Turkish travel, but Salma Awan's travelogue "Istanbul Keh Aalam Mein Muntakhab" is a matchless depiction of Turkish culture and society. The purpose of the paper under review is to analyze the cultural and social aspects of her travelogue so that the historical importance of her travelogue can be determined.
