Abstract

After the War of Independence in 1857, life took a new turn. The (apparent) failure in the struggle for freedom proved to be the precursor of a revolution. This revolution appeared in the form of a new feeling and its universality spread throughout the academic and literary world. We can call this era the era of simplicity and reality. Now, artifice and complexity were avoided in poetry and literature. In fact, Urdu literature became rich with such poems whose themes are historical, political, moral and It was from real life. Under the influence of this atmosphere, Naatiya literature of this period created a different path from the past. Now Naatiya poetry was not limited only to the world of emotional.It started to be presented as realty. Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali,Allama Shibli Noumani, Moulana Ismail Merthi  ,  Hafeez Jalandhri ,Mohsin kakorvi,  Moulana Zafar Ali Khan and Allama Muhmmad Iqbal was the important poet of the Naat  period.
