The Tradition of National Anthems in The World and The National Anthem of Pakistan

Abstract

When the world divided into nationalities, the tradition of national anthem also developed. In today’s world, this tradition existed in all the nations. Poetry of nationalism is considered as national anthem. The tunes of national anthem have been played in the whole world. Before the Emergence of Pakistan many poets wrote national songs. Many songs were written but no one could be titled as nation anthem at national level. A committee was formed and many poets were invited to write national anthem and at the end, national anthem of Hafeez Jalandhari was selected. This article covers the tradition of national anthem at international community, tradition of national anthem in Pakistan, propaganda and at the end, composition of national anthem.
