Abstract

Prem Chand is a fictional writer with a keen mind of Urdu literature. Some realism is seen in his writings, and some romantic style of thought is prominent. Overall, he has a strong awareness of contemporary issues. Apart from all these. If seen from a deeper point of view, in some of his fiction, we also see the spread of colonial elements The word colonialism is the plural form of colonialism. When a state takes over a weaker and less important state by force or force, makes its people subordinate to them, and forces them to work for their own interests, then this process is called colonialism. There are a lot of colonial elements in chess players. Two characters in it show that they are so busy in the game that they don't care about the situation of the country because of this, the colonizer will be able to maintain their dominance easily. For this reason, the people there, being intoxicated in luxury and ignorant of the conditions of the country, were inviting the colonial class to come and occupy us.In addition to this, Premchand's legend is my homeland. If we look at the context, it also feels like giving us a sense of the stateless, and this perspective of rousing the spirit of patriotism is undoubtedly born from the womb of colonial awareness.
